Carlijn
Hi there! I am Carlijn, 26 years old and I live in Amsterdam. End of last year, I started as HR Data & Business Analyst at EBS (so yes indeed, still brand new in this organization 😉). I am excited and grateful to step into Make It Count, a beautiful example of all initiatives Ahold Delhaize is taking. I would love to give something back to society together with all of you! Does volunteer work give you also a feeling of energy? Let’s step out of our daily bubble of business and let’s roll up our sleeves together!
Juup
Tech / Communication / Strategy
Hi there! My name is Juup, I’m 26 years old and live in Utrecht. I have been working for over two years now in Ahold Delhaize. My first experience within Albert Heijn was during my masters where I did an internship at Product Data. After that, I have worked at TechNL starting as a Tech Talent. This year, I aim to improve the communications of Make It Count with its community and I hope to create a community network of likeminded people that want to get out of their ivory tower and give back to the community we serve as Ahold Delhaize. I hope to meet all of you soon! ;)
Lotte
Hi all! Nice to meet you; my name is Lotte Vermeer and I'm part of Ahold Delhaize's Health & Sustainability Team (GSO). Within this team, I mainly focus on consumer health, so 'making healthy food affordable and accessible to all'. I've joined in December 2022, after almost 5 years of consulting-work at Deloitte. I'm 30 years old, living in Amsterdam and my biggest passion is (road/race)cycling. This year, I'll be part of the Make It Count team - as I believe I'm in a privileged position myself and therefore want to 'give back' to society and to people around me (e.g., via volunteering work). Hope to meet you soon during one of our events!
Puck
Hi! My name is Puck Coorens, I'm 27 years old and live in Amsterdam. I've worked in the Albert Heijn stores for almost 9 years. September 2021 I started the International HR Traineeship at GSO and my second year I got the opportunity to work for Stop & Shop in the US. I'm in my final rotation of the traineeship right now, working in the EBS Transformation Team. I believe that, being a retailer, we have a central position in society. Making sure that we give back to the communities we serve and our planet is a goal I want to achieve with Make It Count.
Sam
Hi! my name is Sam Raasveld, I’m 27 years old, and I currently live in Prague. As part of the international HR traineeship program, I’m collaborating with our Czech colleagues and working withing the EBS HR Transformation team. From January 2025, I’ll return to the Netherlands and begin my role at Etos. During my studies, I was involved in several volunteering projects, such as De VoorleesExpress and Taalmaatje, which strengthened my passion for helping others and making a positive impact. Being part of a big organization offers an amazing chance to turn small ideas into something impactful. I’m passionate about giving back and making a difference, and I hope you share this enthusiasm. Looking forward to seeing you at one of our events!
